You Do Not Have To Say Anything – The Yard Theatre

You Do Not Have To Say Anything

You Do Not Have To Say Anything was performed at The Yard Theatre in August 2018 by residents of Tower Hamlets. With the numerous deaths in East London this piece was an open letter to the Met police to demand that they use their power with care – it was also a thank you to the one’s who try. The piece contained interviews with an anonymous police officer and explored what often goes wrong in officer’s interactions with the public. The performance was attended by the Mayor of Hackney and members of the Met Police. This work is currently in development to be performed in other borough’s in London.
