Shakespeare’s Fools – V&A Museum and Prague Quadrennial

Shakespeare's Fools

Shakespeare’s Fools is a performance installation and video work awarded Victoria and Albert Museum’s grant to represent UK at Prague Quadrennial 2015. It explores Shakespeare’s characters of the fool by re-enacting William Kemp’s journey of 1600 in which Kemp performed his Nine Days Wonder. Kempe Morris danced from London to Norwich – a distance of over a hundred miles. After receiving this award we made Shakespeare’s Fools Part 2 – a film in which three performers danced from London to Prague.
