  • You Do Not Have to Say Anything gets ACE funding

Previously known as The Police Project, we are hugely excited to have got funding for this project. I will be working over 2018 with young adults in Tower Hamlets and continuing my work with police officers to explore fear and violence in policing. Thanks to The Yard Theatre and Arts Council England for supporting the work.

  • Commission by MAYK and British Council for East Africa Arts For New Audiences programme

Feel very luck to have been the chosen artist to deliver MAYK’s project for The British Council. We will be working across Rwanda, Uganda and the UK to explore technology in young people’s lives.

  • Participatory Performance Grant

Thanks to ACE for giving me a Participatory performance grant. This grant will support my IGNiTE residency, exploring racial segregation in Bristol, as well as research and development for The Police Project. The grant allows for time to explore the ethical and social implications of participatory work and to work with other practitioners to develop best practice.

  • Somerset House Studios Residency

Excited that Deborah Pearson and I have been chosen to join the Somerset House Studios. We will be scheming and plotting and jotting in order to make live things happen supported by the brilliant Somerset House Studios team.
